July Meeting Minutes

ORD2 Bend Summit Debi Ferrer and Bob Haechrel - not all Indivisible groups were in attendance. Small group sessions suggestions included:
Creating more visibility for the Jamie McLeod Skinner campaign. Ideas include banners, billboards, Letters to the Editor, Radio ads, sidewalk rallys.
Rebranding Walden, he is out of touch, focusing on non-controversial issues, not a leader.

NORCOR Report Teresa Hepker and Tim Schechtel - The Norcor Community Resources Coalition is meeting with each of the four counties to discuss the selection process for the NORCOR administrator position. The fast track does not include any community input. Included NORCOR historical timeline and talking points that also include contact information for NORCOR Board members.

POP Actions:

Outreach - time to promote our Indivisible Group and publish our meetings in the paper. Other ideas include inviting like-minded individuals to the meeting, have a movie, get out the vote, support candidates.

Jamie McLeod Skinner endorsement/activities - POP endorsement news release hasn’t been printed. Follow-up with paper and then consider taking out an ad? Coordinate with Hood River and South Wasco County?
Media committee will coordinate Letters to the Editor. The Dalles Chronicle hasn't been printing many letters and members report sending letters in and yet to publish after almost 2 weeks. Focus will be on two styles of letters, one type will be in support of Jamie McLeod Skinner and the other type will be branding Walden.
